Advertising for tax season can be a unique creative challenge, but collaborating closely with our partners at H&R Block and abiding by one of my team's core creative tenets -- that every idea should help solve a problem and provide value to our users -- we developed a colorful, engaging interactive execution: How Should You Treat Yourself With The Money You've Saved? Users are encouraged to choose from a series of little luxuries that they could do without for a month, like a daily cup of coffee, or spending some extra dough on freemium phone games. Each choice has a dollar amount tallied behind the curtain, revealing a rough estimation of how much money one could save and suggesting a shareable, vibrantly illustrated activity as a result.
