Just in time for tip-off, my team turned NBA superstar and all-around national treasure Shaquille O'Neal into a one-of-a-kind chatbot who was ready, willing and able to help users find their next favorite post on BuzzFeed. Identifying relevant keywords in chat exchanges, our ShaqBot would recommend popular BuzzFeed posts and dazzle users with slick, Shaqtastic easter eggs. Chat With Shaq earned over 300k views, and put TNT's prime-time talent front and center in an interactive BuzzFeed experience.
