Role: Creative Director, Creative Lead, Lead Animator, Designer
Working closely with BuzzFeed's Tech and Ad Product teams, I helped develop an eye-catching, high-impact answer to the traditional banner ad. The Cinemagraph Unit features high-quality, seamlessly looping cinemagraphs painstakingly crafted from client assets — trailers, TV spots, and high-quality stills — and rotated through prominent placement on the BuzzFeed homepage, each driving to a relevant piece of branded content.
I also helped develop a companion format, the Splash Story Unit, which used full-motion animated creative to tell brand stories at homepage scale.
